Walk The Blocks Was a Success!

Volunteers Helped us clean the Neighborhood around Rockwood Prep school on Sunday August 30th

Our Rockwood Community Clean‑Up was a tremendous success, bringing together more than 50 volunteers—parents, students, coaches, neighbors, donors, Team Quest families from Tykes to Adults, Father’s Heart Sports supporters, board members, and church members from Parklane Christian Reformed Church.

We were grateful to have the Gresham Police and City of Gresham staff join us as well. Together, we walked the blocks around Team Quest, Rockwood Prep, and the surrounding neighborhood, cleaning streets and welcoming students back to school with a refreshed, cared‑for community.

We also took the opportunity to show the kids what it means to take responsibility for the place they live and train. Everyone worked hard, and we’re proud of the effort they put in as we filled an entire dumpster donated by Rockwood Solid Waste. The turnout and teamwork give us confidence that the next cleanup will be even bigger. With the school year starting, we’re looking forward to serving our neighborhood, keeping these blocks welcoming for families, and connecting more kids to training and positive community involvement.
